MARCUS REES ROBERTS

The work of Marcus Rees Roberts is held in the collections of The British Museum, The Ashmolean Museum, The Victoria & Albert Museum, University College London, Blackburn City Museum, The Scottish Arts Council, The Sackner Archive, Florida, Pallant House, The Muzeul Florean, Romania.

​He read English at Cambridge, after which he wrote a thesis on German Expressionist Cinema at The Slade, University College, London. He then took a second postgraduate degree in Printmaking at The Slade.
​He was a Teaching Assistant at The Slade (1977-79), lecturer at Edinburgh College of Art (1980–95), Visiting Professor at The University of Central Florida (1982-83), Visiting Fellow at L’Ecole des Beaux Arts, Lacoste, France (1996-98), and Visiting Tutor at West Dean College (2004-16).
